Guardianship

During the student’s stay in Ireland, we undertake to provide numerous services essential for the student’s well-being while in Ireland. Our dedicated staffs handles such services, carried out with an emphasis on personal attention. They ensure that any problem, large or small, that the student may encounter is swiftly resolved.

We have detailed below a comprehensive but not exhaustive list of services that we provide.

Your designated Host family or we will act as Guardians for the student while in Ireland.

This service includes in the following:

• Visits to school during the term to meet student
• Visits to meet teachers and discuss progress report
• Visits on parent’s day
• Emergency visits to schools due to various factors including breach of discipline
• Visits to families during the term (if with a host family)
• Constant liaison with schools in person or by phone
• Arranging visits to doctors and/or dentists when necessary
• Ordering and purchasing of school uniforms and books
• Arranging financial documents for schools
• Assisting in the application for and extension of visas
• Provision of all transports within the Ireland including any transfers required between schools and to and from families
• Provision of travel and accommodation arrangements for visiting parents if required

Exceptional circumstances – extra payment

We expect the student to behave and follow the rules of the school that he is allocated and has accepted.

These school rules will have to be signed by the student on enrolment and will be witnessed by the guardian.

Where the student breaks these school rules or misbehaves the Guardian is sent for and will spend time sorting out the problem. If the situation is deemed very serious and required, a lot of time and input extra charges may apply.

Also in cases of emergency where extra time is required to service or attendance at unsociable hours to sort out problems such as attendance at hospital or Garda Stations extra Guardianship fee may have to be paid. This will certainly apply if unsociable hours are involved in any of the above situations. This fee will be advised.
