Laurel Hill boasts a long and proud tradition of over 160 years of Christian Education. The rich linguistic aesthetic, religious and cultural Heritage of Europe, brought here by the Founders and the early Companions, blended with the strong Celtic traditions of our people.
Laurel Hill expanded and evolved as part of the FCJ international network of educational establishments to become a leading school in Ireland.
Inspired by this dream Laurel Hill students have been greatly enriched over the years through their education for life and for European and World Citizenship.
The School facilities are many and varied to and are constantly being developed to meet the ever changing needs of the student body.
While the boarding school has closed, it still offers a wide curriculum with the state of the Art classroom, facilities, and using the latest teaching techniques and textbooks. The teachers are open and always available to help students and use a wide variety of inspiring and teaching materials.

It has a large campus-offering hockey and tennis facilities outdoors with indoor basketball and gymnastics. Facilities are constantly being developed to meet modern needs.
