Cistercian College Roscrea
Cistercian College Roscrea is a catholic 7-day Boarding School for boys.
It strives to be a Christian Community of learning, in which the students committed to its care live and pray, study and play and seek the truth, in harmony and mutual respect. Founded in 1905, the school is surrounded by open wooded countryside and thirty acres of grounds and sports fields, it also adjoins the Abbey farm of 360 hectares.
CCR is one of two monastic schools in Ireland. The influence of the Abbey is an integral part of the college and daily life is directly influenced by the presence of the Cistercian monks.
